Do not trust reviews of movers on this site. I just wrote a review for the moving company giving it 1 star for both punctuality and friendliness (the only two criterion that I could judge them upon), and on submitting the review, Scanmover put my overall rating of this moving company as 3 out of 5 stars! Totally dishonest site. They asked me to rate their site at the same time as rating the mover, and I am not allowed to go back to edit my review, so here I am posting on Google instead...

I used scanmovers for a small moving of a one room apartment in amsterdam and although I could have done it on my own, with their service and smoothness it was not only worth it to do it by myself, but was a huge benefit as I could focus on other things during the time of the moving. Great company !

I used scanmovers and I was offered 3 quotes from different companies. I'm really happy with the company that I chose, they were friendly, punctual and helpfull. One important thing: the rates include insurance which is really good.

REVISED. I shop based on reviews and sadly I was misled into buying from this company. I bought moving boxes from this website with the promise of having them delivered in 48hrs. Its been 9 days and yet to receive the boxes. This company blames the other company they work for and the other company they work for I have called 9 times to get a refund and EVERY time they have no manager around and cannot do the refund themselves. I bought my boxes from scanmovers.nl so whatever company they work with is NOT my problem hence they should fix this mess. Instead I'm left on my own to have to figure this out on my own and still have not gotten my refund. I am only giving 2 stars because the guys were nice to me when I went to the office and gave us some free boxes. But the company is not doing a company's job. ------- After 45 days and threatening to call the police I was finally issued a refund. I am only adding one more star because even though the problem was solved, it has a hectic disaster and it was a problem that wasn't handled well or in a timely fashion. Thank you for fixing it anyways !
