- They forgot to move a lot of stuff. - Damage to the house we moved from. - Extensive damage to the house we moved to. The house had been painted just one day earlier and needs to be completely redone. There's a tremendous amount of damage throughout the house. - Installations that were supposed to remain in the house have been ripped out. - They stomp through your house with black paws, over your light-colored new rugs, which are then pitch black, even though they could easily walk around them. - They dent and streak your freshly painted walls. Literally throughout the entire house where they've been! - They leave the mud from their shoes on your walls all over your house, staining everything. - The moving boxes are pink and blue, leaving blue and pink streaks on the walls and floor. - The team manager hasn't taken the complaint handling course and dismisses a lot of things. The facts (photos) don't lie, but this gentleman talks about this. This is your experience. Experience? These are the facts. - Working with interns, temporary workers, and borrowed staff from other companies. The staff is clearly not on top of things! - They casually tell us we simply have to pay the invoice, even though we've been left in ruins and have suffered extensive damage. "Solve it first," they say, "but no, they just force us to pay first." It's truly bizarre! - They refer to general terms and conditions that are legally invalid. - And when you speak to the director, you won't find them much more arrogant. "I'm the director, and that's how I want to be addressed," "Sir, you're always used to getting your way," "Sir, if you treat all your suppliers like this, you'll have no suppliers left." This woman is actually laughable. Seriously, this woman is from another planet and completely turns things around. You won't have any customers left if you handle things and complaints like this. This has never happened before, and we do a lot of business with companies, both commercially and personally, but what Jan de Jong Removals has achieved is unparalleled. The damage claim still hasn't been settled. I had a damage claim today (after 7 weeks), and they were wondering how so much damage could have been done! Well, it's almost impressive!

I've moved twice with Jan de Jong in the past: from my demolition house to a temporary house, and from the temporary house to my new-build house. Everything was perfectly arranged, a top-notch company :) This time I wasn't moving, but I had some heavy items I wanted to move to a different floor that I couldn't lift myself. Because I'd had good experiences with Jan de Jong, they were the first thing I thought of. I couldn't find any information on Jan de Jong's website about whether they also offered these types of services ("internal moves") (maybe I overlooked them!), so I sent an email. I quickly received a reply saying this wouldn't be a problem, and they told me what it would cost. After accepting the quote, they were available to help me quite quickly. Friendly movers, quickly arranged. Very satisfied again :)

Jan de Jong Removals, 100% hassle-free moving (that's their slogan). It was anything but 100% hassle-free and moving. This company uses temporary workers and interns who handle your belongings quickly and very sloppily. They caused a tremendous amount of damage to the new house. Mud was everywhere, all over the house and on the new carpets, damaged walls, and smudges from the (colored) moving boxes were left on the freshly painted walls. In addition, a quarter of the belongings remained in the old house. Mistakes are possible, but this company has a lot to learn from how to resolve them... My advice: don't use this moving company; it was anything but hassle-free. The recent reviews speak for themselves; they don't acknowledge mistakes and certainly don't offer a solution!
